StateLine Cooperative's float won "BEST USE OF THEME" at the Iowa State Fair Parade.  Beautiful weather greeted onlookers taking in the sights and sounds of the 2009 Iowa State Fair Parade, held Wednesday, August 12, in downtown Des Moines. The Parade is the largest in Iowa and also serves as the kick-off to the State Fair.  Parade Marshall and Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson led approximately 200 floats, animals, vehicles, novelty and performing units from the state Capitol west down Grand Avenue to 13th Street.  Making the trek to Des Moines (as well as participating in all the local area parades this summer) was Ken Van Ginkel from the StateLine Lone Rock Location.
